Blackcraftcult Eat Cheese And Sin Tee Shirt

Blackcraftcult Eat Cheese And Sin Tee Shirt

For 30 years now, Posnick has been dreaming in fashion for Vogue. While she might be described as the Blackcraftcult Eat Cheese And Sin Tee Shirt in addition I really love this Penn whisperer, the editor has worked with other photography greats as well, including Helmut Newton, Tim Walker, and Steven Klein. “The execution of an idea is different with every photographer I work with because I try to see through the photographer’s eyes,” she explains. Stoppers is, however, dedicated to Penn. “I learned so much from him,” Posnick says. “And to this day, I still think, What would Penn do?” They say you can learn a lot about a man by looking at his shoes, but if you really want to get to know a woman, check out her jewelry. Even a minimalist tends to wear a certain pair of earrings every day. Then there’s the jewelry obsessive who piles on mismatched earrings, bracelets, and tangled necklaces with abandon. Laura Freedman’s store Broken English appeals to both types. Since opening her first shop in Los Angeles back in 2006—and expanding to New York in 2014—she’s put some of our favorite jewelry designers on the map: Freedman was one of the first to buy Anita Ko’s jewelry, and more recently she got Foundrae’s talismanic medallions on every Vogue editor’s wish list. This Saturday, she’s opening her third shop right on the water in scenic Newport Beach; here, she gives Vogue an exclusive first look at the store and tells us about her decade in business—and the jewelry trend we should look out for next.

“I’d heard about this new development [Lido Marina Village] going up in Newport, and some of my neighbors from L.A. were opening stores there, too,” she explains. “It’s such a beautiful, quaint little town, and I really thought they needed a jewelry store. I love being a part of the Blackcraftcult Eat Cheese And Sin Tee Shirt in addition I really love this community here.” Inside the shop, you’ll find design elements that mirror the ocean views: blue and green-flecked marble, lots of foliage, and custom marble and wood display cases, all bathed in plenty of sunlight. It’s a departure from Freedman’s New York store, which is located on Crosby Street and has a vintage-y, harder-edged vibe, and everything in the Newport store is totally custom. “I really love designing homeware and furniture,” Freedman explains. “Everything in the store is totally designed by us—the jewelry cases, brass boxes, candle holders, some ceramics.” When you think about it, those things aren’t so different from jewelry; you decorate your home (or store) just like you decorate your arms or ears. Freedman’s own line of jewelry boxes and objets d’art will debut in Newport, and will soon be available at her other shops too.
