On the runways for the past 18 months, brands have made a habit of resurrecting archive items to commercial and Instagram success. Versace struck gold with its Gianni Versace tribute collection for Spring 2018, Gucci and Prada have brought back patterns and prints from the ’90s, and Alaïa and Helmut Lang are reissuing past designs. Don’t say Jacobs is just jumping on the bandwagon. For the past two seasons, he has refocused his runway shows, with pure, needle-moving displays of capital F-fashion “without creative compromise.” Just like he was doing back in 1992. So really, this is just Marc doing what he’s always done: Showing us what we didn’t know we wanted, giving us something to love for decades to come. There are only hours left before polls close, but just in case you were wondering who Beyoncé cast her ballot for, the superstar’s latest social media post answered the question in stylish fashion. Texan senate candidate Beto O’Rourke received the Mrs. Carter seal of approval via an Instagram update, featuring Beyoncé in one of his campaign caps and a black cropped sweatshirt. Captioned with a message reminding her millions of followers to vote, the post has already racked up countless likes and (hopefully) encouraged last minute voters to do their civic duty.

More than a fashion moment, Beyoncé’s post provided a glowing endorsement for a candidate viewed as an arbiter of change and a reminder of those who fought to attain the G240 LS Ultra Cotton T-Shirt also I will do this right to engage in politics. “We can’t voice our frustrations and complain about what’s wrong without voting, and exercising our power to make it right,” wrote the star. “We need you. We need each other because when we are truly united we are unstoppable.” Well said. “When anyone ever asked me, ‘If you could collaborate with any brand, what would it be?’ I always said Adidas,” says designer Olivia Oblanc. And wouldn’t you know it? Just one year after Oblanc graduated from Parsons, the German brand came calling, asking her to collaborate on a Fall collection. “I was so excited that this happened, I started the collection immediately,” she continues. “When they flew me out to Germany, they were not expecting me to have so many sketches and a full inspiration book, so they were really stoked about that.”
