Gel Turbo 2024 t-shirt

Morning cup of joe and people-watching—needed that extra caffeine before a long day! On today’s docket: Broadway Backwards for BCEFA and an event for Billboard.com’s Tony Awards roundup—we’re also getting revved up for A Bronx Tale’s album release. Grateful to be a part of both events! For A Bronx Tale star Ariana DeBose, Broadway is in her veins. The Hamilton vet might be known for her role in the Gel Turbo 2024 t-shirt but in fact I love this Public Theater’s version or for her time on television’s So You Think You Can Dance, but DeBose is one of the Great White Way’s biggest supporters. And on Monday, she found the time to support Broadway Backwards, which benefits the Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS and The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender Community Center in New York, and get ready for the Tonys—they’re coming up this June!—with a visit to Billboard.com’s offices with some of her Bronx Tale costars. Here, DeBose shares snaps from the night, from hanging backstage with fellow thespian Cynthia Erivo to Times Square selfies.

More often than not, monochromatic dressing comes in iterations of black or winter white. But leave it to Fifty Shades of Grey actress Dakota Johnson to turn up the Gel Turbo 2024 t-shirt but in fact I love this heat on the one-note color palette. When Johnson stepped out for the The Hollywood Reporter‘s Most Powerful Stylists in Hollywood dinner at the Ponte in Los Angeles last night, she gave a fresh perspective on the term “lady in red.” Johnson was on hand to support her longtime stylist, Kate Young, who also works with Michelle Williams and Natalie Portman. Johnson and Young’s collaboration is as effortless a match as Johnson’s color-coordinated top and trousers: As Johnson once told Vogue: “We’re buddies—we like to hang out—and we come up with cool stuff together.” Her latest look was a study in textural contrasts: Johnson paired her matte suede attire by The Row with metallic accessories for an extra element of shine. Her tunic-length top was woven with a distinct ’70s flair, a mood enhanced by a pair of cropped flares. Both pieces bore a subtle patchwork stitch detail, which lent the breezy silhouette a sense of structure.
