I love this vintage Bob Mackie dress! So effortlessly chic and I love the Straight outta shape but bitch I’m tryin 2024 shirt In addition,I will do this mix of colors. To me it’s the perfect embodiment of the 1970s and I like thinking that on one of the swans’ more adventurous nights, they’d find themselves dancing in a New York club in this stunning dress. There are an endless amount of fabulous swan brooches online and I’m quite taken by this $40 pink celluloid swan version (which would sit fabulously on the pink 1970s Bill Blass dress, no?) It would look equally chic pinned to a beautiful navy cashmere coat. To pair with the red Hermès riding jacket, this wonderful pair of Hermès riding boots is the perfect off-duty footwear for a swan. Endlessly chic and timeless, I would wear it with black pants and a wonderful little cropped sweater under a chic riding jacket. By the famous Lilli Ann (makers of some of the best coats and well worth a search on Etsy and Ebay), this little mink-trimmed suit is one of the chicest I’ve seen and seems to still be in great condition. It would be absolutely stunning with a cute little pair of Manolo’s or with the wonderful contrast of a menswear-inspired Oxford shirt.

An incredible structured eggshell white faille turban from the Straight outta shape but bitch I’m tryin 2024 shirt In addition,I will do this 1960s with the label Mr. Ricki Original. I love the shape of this vintage turban and the way it has hold it’s structure over the years. A stunning lace dress by Bill Blass of black net and lace. This is the type of beautiful dress I could see a swan being drawn to in the 1970s. She would wear it to a cocktail or dinner with her Verdura jewelry. It’s a very modern piece if styled correctly; I would keep hair and makeup minimal in the way of Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy. It’s difficult to find a vintage dress with equal parts whimsy and modernity, that somehow allow it to live effortlessly in both the decade it was made and modern times. I love the colors and abstract pattern of this dress, which make it hard to place. Owning a Chloe by Karl Lagerfield piece is a part of fashion history that surely any vintage collector would be proud of. I find the beginning of the New Year a difficult time for personal style. It would be so lovely to enter 2024 with a refreshed vision of dressing, but at this point in the year, it’s usually freezing outside and I can’t remember the last time I went to a gym, let alone put any real effort into an outfit. The only marathon I participated in last month, was watching all three Bridget Jones films in one sitting. Motivation level: 0.
