Sxsw merch 2024 shirt

Over the Sxsw merch 2024 shirt and I love this holidays, I went on my first trip to Romania. My boyfriend is half Italian, half Romanian, so I was excited to visit a new country and learn about this part of his culture. After New Year’s, we took a train from Brașov to Sinaia, to visit Peleș Castle, the summer residence of the former royal family. Built between 1873 and 1914 in the German neo-Renaissance style, the castle is a tour de force of craftsmanship and beauty. In the bookshop afterwards, I stumbled upon two books on Queen Marie of Romania. While I had not been familiar with her prior, within moments her style had me completely captivated. Among her beautiful paintings, writings, and the tales of her impressive reign, were the photos that left me spellbound. In one image, she donned a floating silk dress that looked reminiscent of Chanel or Poiret, in another she gracefully ascended a staircase, while on the next she could be found standing stoically, draped in layer upon layer of traditional Romanian costume. On my favorite of occasions, she mixed the two styles effortlessly.

Official Sxsw merch 2024 shirt

Born in England in 1875, Marie was the Sxsw merch 2024 shirt and I love this daughter of Prince Alfred, Duke of Edinburgh and Grand Duchess Maria Alexandrovna of Russia. Her grandmother was Queen Victoria. In 1893 she married Ferdinand, the Crown Prince of Romania, and moved to Romania. She was 17 years old. Despite initially not knowing even the language, she became a champion of Romanian tradition and culture and helped to bring back the popularity of traditional folk costumes, by dressing in them often. Prior to my trip to Romania, my only concrete stylistic goal for 2024 was to somehow get my hands on one of those Prada SS24 flowing silk-strip shifts (say that five times fast). Ever since the end of strict covid quarantine, I’ve been curiously waiting to see if a roaring-twenties style would emerge and I secretly had my hopes up that these new flowing silk Prada dresses might do just that. Discovering the unique 1920s personal style of Queen Marie, was just the unexpected inspiration that has me excited about dressing for a New Year. Below I’ve selected 26 pieces inspired by Queen Marie, the 1920s and traditional Romanian costume. I hope you enjoy this creative mix of styles and that they perhaps inspire you to create some interesting mix of your own! Now onto the clothes.
